In addition to traditional lighting and electrical power, we also provide single-source design and construction for security systems, complex audio/visual applications, structured cabling and fiber systems, and additional high- and low-voltage systems.
Unlike most electrical construction companies, Continental maintains a fully staffed department of professional engineers, including PEs, LEED Aps, and certified designers (RCDDs). Designers participate in projects from their very inception, consulting with owners, builders, suppliers, and other team members to ensure systems are designed and built to spec. To meet cost and schedule objectives, our team of engineers, estimators, and project managers is involved in every detail of planning, purchasing, data processing, and crew allocation. Because our designers and builders are involved in projects from the outset, Continental can procure materials and begin construction before plans are completed. The elimination of bidding and redesign further reduce design and construction time, resulting in lower project costs and earlier utilization of the system.
